Cool. Letting go of the secrecy is usually a first step. Often times we have to find someone we trust to confide in... someone who can handle the topic without condemnation and offer support... what we call an accountability partner. If we feel strongly addicted to porn, we usually have it blocked from our internet connected devices and/or have monitoring software installed. Either of these we allow our AP to administrate and control, of course, not ourselves. Have you begun these other steps?
(I'm sorry that I don't pray for strangers very often, esp. when I don't believe that prayer is where the solution is. One day Jesus challenged his disciples to forgive their brother repeatedly without exception... 7x70. (Matt.18:22; Luke 17:4) Their response was "Lord, increase our faith" (v.5). In other words, they prayed that God would help them obey this seemingly impossible command. Jesus gave a parable after that (Luke 17, I believe) which stated its simply a matter of obedience, and you're not going to be congratulated because you were an obedient servant. (v.9-10)) I look at this problem like trying to lose weight... its a brain diet problem.
Howdy, Stranger!
