This might seem depressing, but it's meant as an encouragement NOW for all of us....and I think it most definitely applies to our Journey as we deal with any addiction to porn and our growth in sexuality....

You're Welcome, Brother EC!....I like to hear from the old-timers and any Wisdom they got....I asked an elderly lady at church years ago if she had any advice for me:

!. Stay True to Your Heart
    2. Stay Pure

....I was tickled by those thoughts, and had my gameface on since I was embroiled in porn and thought she was spying on me! :O

In a sense, 1 and 2 are the same. Also, some things get spoken to us or we hear are in a context of where our conscience is at a given time; whatever we believe is God's law for our lives at that time.

I agree...I appreciated the spirit of her advice...sweet lady...it was nice to connect with an elderly woman like that...the advice could be taken differently by different folk...it was a blessing.

Don't save room for regret, be about what you want to accomplish now and when it's time keep looking forward. I guess that's my paraphrase of your church friend's advice.
